The Troy City Schools will be closed for students on Friday, Feb. 13 for a professional development day for staff members, and Monday, Feb. 16 for Presidents Day.

While students are off Friday, our staff members will be working. Professional development days provide a valuable opportunity for our teachers, administrators, and support staff to come together for focused training, collaboration and planning.

These days allow educators to stay current with the latest teaching strategies, deepen their content knowledge, analyze student data, and refine ways to better support every learner in our classrooms. Investing in our staff’s growth directly strengthens the quality of education your children receive every day they are in school. All of our buildings, including the Troy Board of Education, will be closed Monday in observance of the federal holiday.
