The K–12 Teaching & Learning Department of Troy City Schools leads a comprehensive instructional program grounded in Ohio’s Learning Standards and committed to student excellence. Our mission is to ensure that every student across all grade levels has rigorous, relevant, and high-quality educational experiences that prepare them for lifelong success.

We collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to deliver the professional development, instructional tools, and curricular guidance necessary to sustain Troy’s tradition of academic achievement. Through a robust system of curriculum design, instructional leadership, and student support, we empower educators to meet the diverse learning needs of all students.

The department also manages a wide range of critical services and personnel, including K–12 Department Chairpersons, 7–12 Guidance Counselors, the district Literacy Specialist and Mathematics Coach, Title I and Reading Specialists, Gifted Services, English as a Second Language programs, Instructional Technology & Innovation, and Library/Media Center operations. Additionally, we oversee the strategic planning and allocation of federal program funds to ensure resources are maximized for impact.
